A History of Making New Music

Before Cirrus Blue, four of our musicians spent several seasons building Camerata Nova at Western Illinois University. The ensemble commissioned and premiered new works, performed at national conferences, and developed close creative relationships with composers. That work continues through Cirrus Blue, now as an independent ensemble connecting musicians and composers across the country.
